Acts 4:13 “Unlearned and Ignorant.” People who bitterly cling to Jesus are deplorable to the ruling class even today. Peter and John were so dumb by common government education standards they even thought God made the world (v24). They wildly spread a crazy conspiracy that their rulers were trying to limit their religious liberty (v26). Despite all the bad press, their message resonated because they didn’t accept the conditions to not speak in Jesus’ name, but spoke the truth in bold (colors), and there could be no answer for the power of God (v14). Let’s live so we can easily be counted in Jesus’ basket of redeemed. [1 Cor 1:27] -PB
