Another Thought from the Sermon on the Mount. Matthew 6 contains the model prayer, and instruction on seeking God first. It parallels well with today’s reading from Proverbs 3. If we are starting out acknowledging “Our Father…” we will likely find ourselves on the path He has desired for us. We will not be lead into temptation, but wisely delivered from evil. When we seek Him first as one might seek gold, silver, or rubies, all the needs of this life will be added to us. If clothed as Solomon or a flower of the field, when walking in wisdom we are beautiful in God’s sight. Have a great day! -PB
