“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.” Psalm 37:8
I was lead to this chapter today because I had a wonderful dream last night of preaching to a full house of people and many were saved. In verse 4 God promises us the desires of our heart, and He knows this is my constant desire!
Verse 8 stood out to me though. Just because I’m not getting my way all the time is no reason to throw temper tantrums and get angry, especially not getting angry at those that take shortcuts. God sees it all.
“So why should I worry, why should I fear?” as the song says. Jesus is “always near” and has my best in His heart. -PB
