Sometimes life’s choices seem difficult, but they can usually be boiled down to some very simple terms no matter how complicated they seem. Here are some guidelines:
- Realize you have a choice
- Pray about the choice
- Ask yourself if this decision will take you further from, or bring you closer to the Lord
Consider Jonah: “But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish …, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, …” Jonah 1:3abv
Jonah could have justified his path in that he found a ship, had money to buy a ticket, and they actually had an open seat, and it was what he wanted to do, but the proof was in the pudding. Watch out for whales! -PB
