Sunday night (2/19/17) Bro Jim Love preached a message from this passage. Yes, putting the Ark of God in an ox cart was wrong, but is was only a symptom of another problem. The ark had 4 little rings built into it, and 2 poles (he called them sticks) that God said the ark was to be carried by. Somehow this detail was missed in favor of a seemingly “good idea” to do it differently.
The point: overlooking the details cost a man his life. What “details” are we ignoring in our Christian journey? -PB
