A verse from today’s reading in Proverbs works well with the subject of yesterday’s post about the Judgment Seat of Christ. “Riches and honour are with me [Wisdom]; yea, durable riches and righteousness.” Prov 8:18. In 1 Cor 3:11-15 the Bible teaches us that the works (not sins) of the Christian will be tried by fire. The wood, hay, stubble show those things not done for Christ that will not last, while gold, silver, and precious stones are those durable things done for Him. Simple question, why invest in cheap works that will not bring honor to Christ? May God bless you and your families. May God help America. -PB
