Just 50 days earlier he had denied his friend to a small group, but on this day he was ready to proclaim his devotion before the multitudes.
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:” Acts 2:14
Too often after we make a mistake we are slow to get back up and go again. Our failures are no surprise to Jesus: He rose victorious over all of them. The question is will we stand back up? -PB
My wife and I will be in the Waldport area the 1st 2 weeks in March. We plan to visit Baptist churches in the area, and I am sure we will visit Lighthouse during our trip. We are currently living in Baytown, Texas, but are exploring our options of where to live when we retire in a few years. A church home is vital to our plans. We look forward to meeting you and your church family. We listened to one of your sermons that you preached while filling the pulpit in Newport.
Thank you for your comment. I look forward to meetingg you and your wife.
