“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;” 2 Cor 5:10&11a. The knowledge that we will give an account for our works to Jesus is perhaps one of the greatest motivations we have as Christians. We will not be on trial to see if we make it in to heaven, Jesus has settled the case for those that believe in Him to enter heaven. However, we still must account for the works we have done, weather they be for Jesus or for self. Whatever works we have done that are not for Him will not be lasting. I want to be found faithful on that day. – PB
