What was your best Christmas gift? I can think of several. I like giving gifts, but admit that with my children being older now, I miss putting together bicycles and toy kitchens Christmas Eve.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights… ” James. 1:17a
Compared with God’s gifts, our best fall far short. The gifts we give at Christmas are usually soon forgotten or broken. The eternal gifts of God, however, fade not away. So let value treasure under the throne of Jesus more than presents under the tree.
