Revelation 2, I Know Thy Works:
There is a regular refrain in the letters to the churches that Jesus know their works – good and bad. He know ours too. Sometimes I wonder if we imagine that he will find out later (maybe… if we don’t cover them up before). However, the truth is, He knows our works currently. Sobering thought as we head back to work following Labor Day. -PB
