“[God’s grace teaches] us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” Titus 2:12
This morning I spent some time considering these 3 adverbs for who we ought to live today. First, let us be aware (sober), there are dangers and opportunities out there. Secondly, let us live righteous, that is in a way that is agreeable with God’s law. Lastly we should aspire to live godly: that is in a manor separated (or devoted) unto God’s will.
This life requires grace to succeed. We will not accidently live in such a way, but must seek God’s help each step of the way. -PB
