Psalm 20 begins with a blessing but I wonder how ready many Christians are to receive it.
- “The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble;” How many are praying?
- “Send thee help from the sanctuary,” How many are meeting with Him in the sanctuary to receive His help? The set aside place where God and His people meet is the “sanctuary.” Today that is in the local churches.
- “Remember all thy offerings,” How many are giving? If we are not giving of ourselves/time/energy/money/talent how can God remember and bless?
- “Grant thee according to thine own heart,” What if God blessed us not by His grace, but just according to the condition of our heart?
