Acts 19 recounts the story of the Apostle Paul’s stay in Ephesus. Here the people worship Diana and a stone which fell from the sky. In all reality, it was the same religion as Islam is today.

When the people began to believe in Jesus the merchants from the Ephesus Chamber of Commerce didn’t like the disruption to their business as the new believers stopped buying their idols.

Would to God that we could impact our communities in such a way that even business patterns changed as a result. I am reminded here of Charles Sheldon’s great book, In His Steps. ┬áMay you have a blessed day! -PB
