Psalms 56:3-4 – “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust…” I got here this morning by way of 1 Peter 5:7 – “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Of course Peter is talking about Satan, and David is talking about other people, but my greatest enemy is often in my own head. I talk myself into a lot of fear/care/worry. “What if…?” happens a lot in there, so trust and faith are limited. As my son moves in to Bible College today, my wife and I have seen God answer so many prayers: Why doubt? Why fear? Trust & Obey: there’s no other way. When I do trust and obey I see.
