A small group of people began meeting in the Waldport Community Center on Thursday nights in November of 2004. By March of 2005 Lighthouse was having Sunday services and Thursday studies at the same location. On July 26th, 2006 Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church was formally formed under the direction of our sponsoring church. We met for over 9 years in the community center before being blessed to purchase our present location in April of 2014. Over the years we have seen many people come and go, we love them all and we love our community. At Lighthouse you will find ordinary people actively doing our best to serve our extraordinary God! We are far from perfect people, but His grace is enough for us all.
